The main topic is: "Citizens’ energy systems follow trend". Climate protection and the energy turnaround are among the central challenges of our time. The awareness of these tasks is increasing and motivates many people to act. For example, they use buses and trains instead of their own cars, buy energy-saving household appliances, purchase green electricity or install a solar thermal system. Beyond the radius of influence of the individual, the association of several citizens opens up further fields of action. After all, it is precisely in the area of renewable energy systems that the capacities of individuals are quickly exhausted. For example, if there are no roof areas of one's own for the installation of a photovoltaic system or if the construction of a wind power plant exceeds one's own financial possibilities. Together, even large projects can be realized.
The booklet also contains a detailed interview on the subject of "Turning those affected into participants". Citizens plan projects, participate in the construction of energy plants and found cooperatives for this purpose. This also increases the acceptance of renewable energy systems. We spoke with Bettina Bönisch from the Repowering InfoBörse about this topic.
In addition, the new innovation & energie offers, as always, many more exciting reports, news, interviews and event information on the subjects of renewable energies, energy efficiency and climate protection.
